Me, Myself and I

I'm one of those people who needs time for myself. Often. Very often. And some just don't understand that.
I need time to think things through. I need plenty of quiet time. I need time at the ocean, in the park, in my room... all by my lonesome self.
Only I don't feel lonesome most of the time. I keep myself company.
And... I'll admit it... I talk to myself.
:)
Out loud.
When noone's around.
Berate myself for my wrongdoings.
Applaud myself for my right-doings.
Question my decisions and try to reach some answers.
Yell at people who aren't there.

And I do consider myself sane, folks.
:)

OK, sheesh, I can take a hint! If you want me to leave you alone, you coulda just said so instead of making a whole scene like this... And for heaven's sake, keep it down-- don't you know the walls have ears?!

Your post made me smile. Many people don't understand quiet 'me' time. With all the modern technology around they just 'have' to be available to talk to at all hours. Then there are others who as soon as it is quiet feel it necessary to put the music on full blast. I used to wonder when they had thinking time but when i asked one person the look i received in return clearly placed me in the 'From Mars' list. I think some people are too scared to think.

And about talking to oneself you aren't alone lots of people do it!

Talking to one-self is considered discussing things with a smart person...

I am like that too, some times, depends in my mood, but it;'s tougher with a family around you, you can't really get that private silent time as much as you wish.

Boruch hashem for that!

"silent IS golden" ;-)

Good for you, and you are sane, it's something that we all should do.

I also like private time for myself. And I talk to myself also. :)

I talk to myself also. Out loud, just commenting on things or making conversation. Not when people I know are around, but sometimes walking down a crowded street I don't care if the world sees my lips moving. I also like having my time alone, my space away from the world.
