Sunburn

I feel like someone
boiled up a vat of
glue
and poured it
over my shoulders
and nose.
It's been a couple of days
and the tingling
is still there.
Itching.
Scratching.
Hot to the touch.
And now
the glue has begun to
peel.
Ouch.

Ouch. Sunburn hurts. My sympathies, and refuah shelaimah.

Sometimes the "sunburn" is below the surface, though...

This is why I put on sunscreen all the time. Which may explain why I am pale as a ghost despite exercising outdoors daily.

On a different note, I actually like peeling glue. Sunburn does not compare at all.

Refuah shleima. Try some aloe.

Hey, the word verification got even longer!

oish... know the feeling. feel better soon

i got burnt to a crisp on sunday. besides for dealing with stares and comments ( ;) ) i was in a lot of pain. still am in some places (though BH most has turned tan already).

it really hurt when i got back to camp on monday (and tuesday and today) and hugged the campers!!

i used to never wear sunscreen on my face...dont like the idea of smearing stuff other than moisturizer on my face, but so far this week i've been wearing every day. don't want to get any darker.

thanks for your sympathies...
though my skin is not dark, i barely sunburn. This is maybe the fifth time in my life...

It's so itchy...
And it seriously looks like peeling glue...

I hate the smell of sunscreen and have only worn it about three times ever.

You are flirting with danger, lady.

Reminds me of when i used to eat paste...and sniff glue.
But those days are long past...

jewmaican - you used to EAT PASTE?
and once you're already sniffing, it may as well be permanent markers...
