Can't they understand the meaning
Behind a few, simple words
Contained in a poem?
They talk about life
As if it's a real thing.
And it is.
They just don't realize
How really real
It is.
They think
Life is to enjoy.
While I say
Life is to understand.
And to understand
Is to change.
And to change
Is to grow
And to really begin
To enjoy
Life.
The title's sorta self explanatory, ain't it? This is the place where the things I dream are sent to cyberspace for all to examine, dissect, and return with comments.

True, true. Sigh.
I still believe "they" will learn one day.
But... not all change is to grow. :( I guess hopefully the type of change that comes from real understanding is. But then there's all that trying to understand... w/e.

as it says in the hakdamah to mesilas yesharim, the world was created to give pleasure to mankind. true pleasure is knowledge and understanding and closeness to Hashem. That comes about thtrough thinking and asking and changing and growing...
